Our programs
“Older brother, older sister”: The project has existed since 2010, covering children of primary, secondary, and high school age who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. The main goal of the project is the socialization of children and their communication with the adults and peers with an active life position.
English corner”: The project is being implemented jointly with the students of pedagogical team "S.T.E.P." since 2014. Volunteers conduct English lessons for children of preschool and primary school age in libraries in Vladivostok. The main goal of the classes is to attract interest in learning English, develop an active vocabulary, and also actualize the problem of loss of interest in learning a foreign language.
“In the same language”: The program was started in March 2021, covering children of primary and secondary school age with hearing impairment. Volunteers of the "Helping Hands" contribute to the adaptation of basic and vital skills and knowledge about the world around us through games, master classes and other thematic events. The main purpose is to socialize children and gain experience communicating with different people through interaction with volunteers.
“Heart breath”: The project exists since 2021. Our volunteers come to the children with the problems of respiratory organs one or two times a week. They organize different events, including intellectual and entertaining games, active recreation, master classes, trainings, uniting team games, as well as building an environmentally friendly attitude towards the world and each other.
“Let’s have fun!”: The project has existed since 2021, covering children of preschool and primary school age with visual impairments. Volunteers conduct educating and entertaining programs, as well as different master classes for the children.
“Teen TOP”: Volunteer movement of schoolchildren 14-17 y.o. within which curators teach schoolchildren how to communicate with kids with special needs (hearing-impaired children, visually impaired children, children in special needs classes), as well as with children in difficult life situations, conduct educational and unifying trainings for children. After receiving training Teen TOP volunteers take part in all the projects of the Partnership.
“New Year miracle”: For more than 15 years, the New Year's and Christmas holidays bring together hundreds of disabled children, children from orphanages and large families and inmates of social organizations to charity matinees that we hold together with our partners.
